THE JOHN AND RICK BENEFIT
Rick Thompson and John Krezinski were past Fire Chiefs of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department. Both Chief's have been diagnosed with devestating diseases.
Rick Thompson was the very first Chief of the OVFD and was instrumental in the development of the department. Rick has been diagnosed with ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrigs disease.
John Krezinski was the Chief of the department from 1998 to 2008. John has been diagnosed with stage 4 left Kidney, left Lung and prostate cancer.
July 17th, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at the Oakland Community Center on 4435 Highway 69S.
Hamburger, Hot Dog or Chicken Sandwich Plates. Includes chips, a drink and dessert all for $7.00. All proceeds to go to both of our heros.
